»Dear Friends, I have been hesitant to share this news because I don't like being an alarmist and also because I had hoped I would be over it by now, but it appears I have developed Long Covid after an asymptomatic case last fall. It has taken months to ascertain by process of elimination that this is what's going on. Because I have been vaxxed and boosted as recommended, my case is not as severe as many others, but it has definitely put me on the sidelines, and demands that I pay it full attention and do nothing to aggravate it. This is why you will see some cancellations on my upcoming tour dates, until mid August, and I apologize for making promises I couldn't keep. As covid flares up again while the country is unmasked, I am on the "at risk' side of things, so, unless I can drive to the shows, and be in a safe environment once I'm there, I will have to stay grounded. Fortunately for me I am "stuck" in a beautiful place here in Taos, even with the fires all around, and I am grateful for the care Iget at home. I have every intention of making music again, but for now am not taking any chances.I will be performing some live streams, and am brainstorming with the team to figure out other alternate ways to make music and get it out there to you. Stand by, and thank you for your ongoing support.« »PS: Here is a fun new product from Howlin Dog Records: a handy thumbdrive of "Songs from the River Wind" - music and a digital brochure. - in a cool eco-friendly bamboo case.
