His tragic death has orphaned his 13 year old triplet sons, Fergus, Roderick and Diarmid, their mother, journalist Honorah Perry, having died some eight years past.
A Trust fund has been set up to secure the boys' future, and a Benefit Concert is to be held during Celtic Connections on Tuesday 20th January in the main auditorium at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. (A further concert is being planned for Edinburgh in March) All the performers (listed below) are numbered among Bobby's personal friends. There are a few other "big" names who are also hoping to take part.

Irish Dance & Music Workshop in Paris
The Irish Association in Paris is organising A Dance & Music Workshop on
Saturday 31st of January & Sunday 1st of February 1998. The teachers

an old theatre and the musical Instruments workshops will take place in
various PUBS among the growing numbers of Irish pubs in Paris.
